“As a division of FLIR Systems, our reticle Department produces many lenses for Government as well as for domestic gun sights.  My department produces many lenses from a single plate that has reticles on each one produced.  The need for accuracy in producing this reticle is of the most importance.  We can produce quantities of one plate sometimes anywhere between sixteen to 100 parts with complete accuracy almost every time by using the Machine Eye camera.  The setup times are quick and easy with little training time also.  This camera is tough.  With many hours on this camera, with chucking and releasing from the CNC chuck it goes through constant rigorous handling but still works great.  With the ease of set up and set times, and with the camera’s clarity, I would recommend the ME40X camera to anyone who is in need of such tight tolerances as we do here at FLIR Systems.”
